What I love about Rihanna's style is how she's not trying to dress like the average black singer/ actress, (you know what I'm talking about, sometimes our people style gets a little too soulful... for example: MJB, Ashanti, Raven, etc.) but now don't get me wrong I think she used to dress soulful too, but in the last 2 years her style has changed for the better, she's being (I think) herself. And for the first time in fashion magazines you see sections about what a black girl is wearing... you didn't see that before (and my feeling on that is "about damn time!" lol).
