I can't remember her name right now, and then there was Kendra and someone else from Houston that showed some of their collection, which was actually kind of cute, so I was pleasantly surprised!

How would you describe your style? It's comfortable. I look at it from an artistic point of view. It's not high fashion and it's not streetwear.

My friend Jasmine and I have always talked about having a fashion blog for a few years now. I know, I know, Houston is not really what you would exactly think about for fashion, but WE WANT IT TO BE! Why should I have to move to New York/LA/Paris/Tokyo/London/Milan for fashion? I mean I want to, but I've always wanted to appreciate fashion where I'm from. And since I've started college (currently in my third year) my views about my personal fashion have changed. At the University of Houston, there are SO many styles that I see everyday that inspire me and my style! I want to use this site to showcase those unique individuals that have their own style. (how many times can I use the word 'style'?)

Whether it's a bag, pair of shoes, or hair accessories, I think they should be showcased! I love fashion, and even though I always say, "I don't look like it", I'm still evolving into that chic individual! It's going to take some time, and some tailoring, but I hope to get there!

I would say that my personal fashion philosophy is WEAR WHAT WORKS FOR YOU AND YOUR SHAPE! I would say that my style is sort of classic/preppy with a twist. I don't know exactly what that twist is, but I think that it means that I don't STICK to being classic all the time. I am a huuuge fan of jeans and t-shirts, so that's most of what I wear!

Though this blog is targeted specifically to people that go to the University of Houston, I think that if I see a cute outfit and I am just walking down the street or out with my friends, (and have my camera) I am going to try and snap what those people have on.

My friend Jasmine (the other editor of this blog) and I are sort of different yet the same, in our style. I think that she's not afraid to try new things (most of the time) and have unexpected touches. I think that she is a bit more trendy that I am. (but this is not a bad thing!) I just stick to what works, but I do have some trendy things about me. I love polos! But those are kind of classic right? haha

I really want to start a fashion magazine in Houston. But for now, I'll have a fashion blog. ( SO LOOK OUT FOR THAT FASHION MAGAZINE COMING 2020!) I breathe fashion (if one can do that). I plan to work for a fashion magazine someday, but I don't want to move to LA or New York. I love Houston. With this blog, I want to show the world that people in Houston have incredible style too.

How do I explain my style? It's kind of hard, because my style slowly changes all the time. I mostly wear jeans, shirts, sometimes a headband, flats, and vintage/homemade jewelry. I like to take bits and pieces from different styles and make it my own. For example, prep, punk or hip hop. I am influenced by all of these styles. I feel with fashion, you should be able to play around with it... and not take it so seriously. But it should always make you look and feel better.

I love to recreate items or 'bedazzle' as my friends call it. Most of all the purses I carry, I've made myself. (same goes for my jewlery) Most people exercise to relieve stress, but I sew.
