I'm going to start this off by talking about one of my favorite and most brillant designers of all time, 3.1 Phillip Lim. He has a great ability to combine dressy and casual. If I could wear 3.1 Phillip Lim everyday I would!!!

NOTE: This is the perfect way to wear a mini for all ya'll out there that are maybe saying to yourself: "I want to but what to wear with it, a tank?" The answer: "HELLL NO! Not for school, that's hoochie, save it for the clubs. : )

Edit: (Vanessa's opinion) I love this outfit as well! Good choice Jasmine... but I'll have to disagree. I don't think wearing a tank with a mini like this is hoochie. You can wear a loose, blousy tank, and it won't look hoochie at all. If you top it off with a cardigan, it'll look even classier.

JASMINE: Duhhh Vanessa, I'm talking about a tight fitting tank and thats it.

I usually don't like floral print of any type, mainly because I thought it didn't look good with anything, but when I saw her outfit I ate my words. The red mini is the perfect piece to match the colorful top, giving the outfit a fun/classy/sexy look. Also what I love is how she keep her outfit simple... because a neckless would have taken away from the look.

I was curious as to who are the Mary Kate and Ashley's of Britain, the fashionistas. And four girls that kept coming up in my search were: Peaches and Pixie Geldof, Alex Chung (who I've done a post on before), and Daisy Lowe. Their style is very different from American style, they take more risks I think.

You all know Lauren "LC" Conrad from Laguna Beach and The Hillz. But I mostly like her for her cool and classic style. Almost everything that Lauren wears, I would love to wear! She loves clean lines, and girly details. Also, I think a lot of her outfits are easy to recreate without her reality star budget.

What I love about Rihanna's style is how she's not trying to dress like the average black singer/ actress, (you know what I'm talking about, sometimes our people style gets a little too soulful... for example: MJB, Ashanti, Raven, etc.) but now don't get me wrong I think she used to dress soulful too, but in the last 2 years her style has changed for the better, she's being (I think) herself. And for the first time in fashion magazines you see sections about what a black girl is wearing... you didn't see that before (and my feeling on that is "about damn time!" lol).
