New Orleans Edition

This ain't no JOKE! (lol)

As we were walking around we saw displays of art set up along the gates of a small park in the French Quarter, but the best part was the artist were right there! You could see in each of their pieces how the city of New Orleans affected their art. The picture above are paintings that I thought were AMAZING!

We think the Sartorialist would like this picture. : )

Walking into a shop we noticed this young lady who worked there, we love how she made this simple and preppy outfit look very chic.

On the sunday morning that we were still in NOLA, we decided to get beignets and explore the French Quarter. It seemed like fall had come early, and there was an amazing breeze and I wish we could have stayed longer. That's when Jasmine spotted this awesome looking boutique, that looked expensive from the outside, but as we got closer, we saw that there was a $10 shoe sale!

When we walked into this boutique, I couldn't help but notice how girly and affordable the clothing was. There was a ladylike quality to everything in the store. They carried brands like Lucca, and Sweetees. They have locations all over Lousiana, but we went to the store in the French Quarter.

Her dress is crazy cute and simple, notice again the lack of jewelry (are ya getting it yet). Also, the red flats are heaven.

The Jean Luc Mylayne Show
at the Blaffer Gallery Art Museum

These were the best dressed women at the art opening, each of their styles were very chic and classy for the occasion.

The purple and the white together is very cute and basic, but its the addition of the coat and heels that make the outfit more chic. This lady has great style. (4 stars ****)

This dress is very cute and we like how the gold doesn't take away from the outfit, but helped bring out the outfit.

We really liked this dress, very simple and cute with a little bit of detail at the top and bottom. (*also like the no jewelry)

The grey dress pants with the oversized top made this outfit different and very cute. What I like is seeing rear combinations I haven't seen before, I like how she has grey with hints of navy blue in her top; and again very simple not too much going on.

I love these shoes Vanessa had on, but what I really liked was how she didn't try to match everycolor in the shoe with her outfit.
